Resources
Below are some of the resources beyond this site that I consider wonderful tools, companions, and friends in the work of tending trust. I have personally made use of these tools or personally know the people behind them, so vouch for their strong, trust-nourishing DNA.

Jen Lemen and Andrea Sher have a wonderful thing going here. Mondo Beyondo is a 5-week ecourse designed to help unlock, heal, and give flight to your dreams. I had a true conversion experience while taking it, from a dark worldview to one of enormous possibility. I can’t recommend this course enough!

I love Alana, and love this free resource she’s created on grief. Without me doing anything but read it, it wove a healing blanket around my saddest, fearful places. There are no platitudes here, and there’s no subtle push to feel better. There’s the steady, compassionate beat of a heart who knows grief; a soft chorus of voices that feels like a hand of support at my back; and prompts that make darkness feel that much less bleak. Picking up the Pieces, for me, is a beautiful, healing dawn.

If you haven’t gotten to know Marianne Elliott’s work – through her blog, her Holiday Guides, or her 30 Days of Yoga courses, I strongly urge you to. She is one of the most trust-nourishing people I know.

I have come to love Jen Lee’s gentle, honest, tenacious spirit that models and inspires increasing freedom to use your voice, tell your stories, find supportive companions, and make peace with the ups and downs of the creative life. She offers a variety of resources on her site and continues to produce more by the season – linked here is her “Finding Your Voice” course. All are Trust Tending kindreds.

If you find yourself at any sort of crossroads, no matter your age, this audio series is a wonderful companion in the task of living honestly into the knowns and unknowns of that space. David Whyte is a poet and teacher whose gentleness, incisiveness, and eloquence are like few others I’ve known.

SoulCollage is a collage process that helps you name and understand a bit better the different parts of yourself. Essentially, you create a separate card (5×7) for each aspect of your personality, using your intuition to help guide which images from among those available to you you combine for each one. Once a card is complete, you write a few phrases to name what that card represents. In my experience, the process is a lot like dream work, and leaves me feeling more understood and integrated. |
