What are Deep Listening Sessions?

Deep Listening Sessions are opportunities to be lovingly witnessed. They aren’t about being coached, steered, or given advice, but about being deeply heard.

They begin with an invitation to share, by phone, one or both of two things:

• An area or areas in your life where you’re experiencing fear and desiring to grow more trust and/or
• An area or areas in your life where you’re sensing trust is newly taking root.

  (These two are almost always connected.)

My privilege in these 50-minute sessions is to listen deeply, ask questions, and hold the things you say in a safe space where you not only hear your own self in a new way, but begin to catch glimmers of where your heart and life are leading you.

My experience and my conviction is that being lovingly witnessed while putting words to at least some portion of the deep, unworded change that’s happening within, is one of the most potent forces available for hopeful transformation.

After our conversation on the phone, I sit reverently with all that I’ve heard, continuing to hear it. I then create a piece of art in response. This art is a talisman – a hold-in-your-hand reminder that you’ve been deeply heard, and also a blessing that continues, well beyond our session, to speak hope, peace, and strength to you.

Within 24 hours of our conversation I send you a recording of our call and a high-resolution PDF of the artwork I’ve created in response to it.
