This is a love note to anyone who loves to read, and who hasn’t for a long time because life is so full.
This is a love note to anyone who loves sitting in warm sun on a cool day, eyes closed, listening to silence. And who hardly remember what that feels like.
This is a love note to the folks who understand the power of exercise, the nourishment of good food, the leisure of a long, uninterrupted phone call with a dear one. And who’ve had strikingly little of all three lately.
This is a love note to the builders, to the healers, to the artists who are trying to find their truest way not on smooth and well-marked trails, but by blazing brand new ones. Trails that take hard, hard work to create, and that plunge into life’s depths every much as they open out into breathtaking vistas.
This is a love note to folks who wonder whether they’re making life harder on themselves than it needs to be.
Who’ve said YES to a call.
Who wonder how much of that call they made up.
Or whether it matters where it came from.
This note is for me. This note is for you.
This note is a heart-felt blessing that you give yourself kindness, right where you are. Kindness in your questions. Kindness in your pace. Kindness in that heart of yours that loves so much, that’s healing, that reaches out for love and connection like lungs reach for air.
You’re doing a fantastic job of being you, in this place, in this season.

I’m looking so forward to Santa Pause! It already feels like a warm hug. I’d love your company for it, and am so inspired by the souls already gathering. Registration closes Saturday.
