Your little guy is getting so big and he's so darned adorable. Don't you just look at him and pinch yourself that being a mom isn't some kind of dream. As I look back on my life, being a mom (all kids adopted at birth) are what I'm most proud of. You are doing a good job, Kristin.

i just wanted you to know that even more than mulling over all the great thoughts from those blogs about our sexuality, they have allowed me to see some things in my own life so much more clearly. and altho my mind is a bit overwhelmed by it all,,,and with so little time to put thoughts down, i still know that the words have changed me a little. i also found some paulo coehlo (sp?) books, read the back and bought 3 and then when i got home i realized that this was the author i wrote on some scrap of paper lost in the crevices of my car...after you had spoken of him. so far, i love what i am reading, and it falls in line with some of what we spoke of.
so, with all these feelings and senses of changes, i feel so relieved that you sensed we needed relief. and i love the pictures!

You are right; we needed to come up for air. But don't leave us on the surface for too long, Kristin. I, for one, am looking forward to the next deep sea, deep soul diving expedition.

Thanks for sharing the photos of your time on the farm. Beautiful family. Your son's expressions are marvelous. And the animals - cute and curious. May we all always be filled with such wonder at those we see on our daily rounds.

What a great photo that first one is - he embodies the concept of "wow!" (OK, that's a really ugly sentence, but I hope you know what I mean :-))

One of my favorite pictures of myself is at about age 2, with my grandmother, surrounded by sheep. They're taller than I am, but she's keeping me safe and happy.
