Thank you, Jen! I'm at this place in such large part because of you, too! I think back wistfully to our talks. And with a small sense of being a stranger to those two back there, finding their (our) way through to light (inspiration, clarity, self-understanding). It's a strange and sweet thing to have traveled this distance since then, don't you think?

i am so excited for the developments on the writing front and feel so confident that things are unfolding exactly as they should. you have played such an integral role in getting my own beginnings off and running--i'm celebrating this accomplishment with you, friend!

Thanks, Christy. From the sounds of it, you will be doing LOTS of writing in years to come. Yay for you being this much closer to getting into a program!

Thanks for the props, and yay for you for all the work you've done on your novel. I know that's quite an achievement. I wish I was doing more writing, but I'm not. Maybe some day I'll get it together, but in the meantime - yay for you!

Heather, I look forward to reading whatever more stories of Ethiopia you have to share. Profound experiences are so hard to put on paper, aren't they?

I hope that your novel will one day be in many people's hands. I've no doubt it's great.

It's nice to see you pop back into blogworld. I'm feeling a little lost in the writing department these days. I have so much churning around in my head after my trip to Ethiopia, but I just can't seem to find the space or time to write the things waiting to be written. Hopefully they won't disappear before I commit them to paper.

I have written a novel in the past too, and wish sometimes that I could go back and revisit it. It came close to being published, but I know it needs a little more work. Unfortunately, life has a way of taking over sometimes.

Best of writing blessings to you!
