Kristin,

This is really good. My church is currently gearing up to do a series on the compassion of Christ and I think this concept of love and Love really helps clarify exactly why it is SO important for us to do everything we can to love others around us who don't see as much love as we do. Thank you!

Thanks, Atticus. I'll look forward to reading whatever you send. I'm glad for the way you said this "bad" side thing, too, because I think that's really what I mean to say: love is normal. It's good in that fundamental sense I talked about, since it's what we all do. Maybe love and Love can be seen as two ends of a spectrum, and movement toward Love is what happens as we heal and get more conscious of the needs and fears that we carry.

i liked the 2 loves: Love and love...nice way of trying to understand what we could tend to call our "bad" side...this helped me feel more positive about myself--thanks...i also sent it to my friend...i wrote something about the shame thing...being within us, esp. women...will find it to send to you...one of these days.
