isn’t that the most sickening thing - they are just so very clueless. i blogged on this yesterday - maybe when they’re all sitting on trent lott’s new porch they’ll be able to remember that it was things like this that ruined their legacy.

If this administration’s popularity ratings go up after this debacle, I’ll know that a whole lot of Americans are totally whacky–or seduced by the religious right. For my own sanity and peace of mind, however, I’m watching and reading as little as possible right now. Once everybody is safe and the gulf coast’s recovery has a strategic plan, then I’ll really take a hard look at everything. Dear, dear Democrats–bring on a strong candidate.
